Attacking enemies fills up the "Scissor Fever" gauge, allowing Jack to perform special attacks to instantly defeat multiple enemies. Monocoins earned from defeating enemies can be used to purchase upgrades for both Komaru's Hacking Gun and Jack's scissors, and various skills can be unlocked and equipped, such as extended health.
The game features three difficulty settings, with harder difficulties containing less ammunition and fewer opportunities to use Jack's assistance. Plot The game takes place half a year after the events of the first game, prior to the events of the second game. Komaru Naegi, the younger sister of the first game's protagonist, Makoto Naegi, has spent the past year locked inside an apartment complex in Towa City, unaware of the events that have gone on in the outside world.
She is suddenly forced to flee when she was attacked by deadly Monokuma robots and comes across Future Foundation member Byakuya Togami, who gives Komaru a special Hacking Gun that can fight against the robot and orders her to escape the city. However, Komaru's escape fails and she is captured by a group of elementary-school children known as the Warriors of Hope, who seek to create a utopia for children by murdering all the adults with their robots.
They force Komaru to join their "Demon Hunting" game and drop her into the city, where she is saved by Homicidal maniac Genocide Jack, who soon reverts to her true self, Toko Fukawa, a survivor of Hopes Peak High School's killing game. Toko can now control Jack through the use of a stun gun. Learning that Byakuya may have been kidnapped by the Warriors of Hope, Toko agrees to team up with Komaru to find Byakuya and escape the city.
Along the way they encounter a resistance group, run by Haiji Towa, and meet a white bear robot named Shirokuma. As Komaru and Toko go on their journey, fighting against the Warriors of Hope and encountering much despair along the way, they learn that the Warriors of Hope are in worship of Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Despair responsible for bringing about the end of the world, and seek to create a successor.
She meets, Byakuya Togami who gives her a special hacking gun and tells her to get out of the city. Well, things go wrong, very wrong and before long she is fighting for her life and teaming up with Genocide Jill in order to survive and put a stop to the Warrior of Hope who are kids that want all adults killed.
It is pretty cool stuff and I liked how it was its own thing, but had some very clever nods to the other games. For the most part, you take control of Komaru and the game is in the 3rd person. She uses her hacking gun for pretty much everything.
You can attack enemies, take over an enemy, use it on machines and use it to solve puzzles too. You can also take control of Genocide Jill with her razor-sharp scissors, the game does this in a very cool way and it is a lot of fun. As you progress through the game you will obtain Monocoins and these are what you will be using to purchase upgrades and new abilities to help you get through the game. It is a fun 3rd person game and one that may be a tad clunky in places, but once you get the hang of it, it all becomes second nature.
I played this recently and it has a very Persona 5 kind of style to it and I mean that in the most complimentary way imaginable. Danganronpa Another Episode is a third-person adventure shooter game where the player controls Komaru Naegi as she tries to survive in a city overrun by Monokuma Units with the help of her partner, Toko Fukawa.
Choosing to play as Komaru allows the player to utilize a megaphone-shaped hacking gun which turns her words into various types of ammunition, called Truth Bullets. Initially, the hacking gun has an unlimited stock of every type of Truth Bullet. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. While the visual novels are great games as well, it was nice for the Danganronpa series to try a new genre. Toko gains much more focus, development, and backstory exploration, going from an annoying cynic to a loyal friend.
The first game largely portrayed her as a cynical jackass who always assumed the worst in everything and pushed the other students away. The game takes place half a year after the events of the first game, prior to the events of the second game. She is suddenly forced to flee when she was attacked by deadly Monokuma robots and comes across Future Foundation member Byakuya Togami, who gives Komaru a special Hacking Gun that can fight against the robots and orders her to escape the city.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Toko can now control Jill through the use of a stun gun. Learning that Byakuya may have been kidnapped by the Warriors of Hope, Toko agrees to team up with Komaru to find Byakuya and escape the city. As Komaru and Toko go on their journey, fighting against the Warriors of Hope and encountering much despair along the way, they learn that the Warriors of Hope are in worship of Junko Enoshima. The first of two Truth Bullets Komaru starts with.
This is the basic attack bullet, which Komaru can shoot at Monokuma Units to inflict damage. Shooting the eye will result in a one-hit defeat plus a golden Monocoin against most enemies. Additionally, successfully hitting the weak point powers up the next shot significantly. Move The second of the default Truth Bullets.
