I was surprised at how difficult it was to find older freeware versions of this program. The tutorials here and at the VDC Easy website are essential to understanding how to use this program, particularly if you want to make SVCDs with playback control menus. Otherwise, I found the program a little obtuse without any directions, particularly with regard to the program settings.

I also had to set my cd burner under the options in the program to a generic driver to get it to work consistantly, but that may just be my Que! I was able to convert jpeg and bmp to mpeg stills, and make SVCDs!
